woodblock print on paper
6x8"
I assembled all the needed equipment, made a space in my home for wood cutting, cut down, singed and sanded a shoe brush, spent 2 days cutting 4 wood blocks, cut the paper, wet the paper, cooked the glue, mixed the colors and finally today I got the chance to print my first home-made woodblock prints. Yay! The image is from drawings I made on a spring day in Monhegan Island last month. Many thanks to Matt Brown for his wonderful instruction in this technique.
