Easter Morning, Concord
2013
oil on panel
16x20
I took photos in Concord Center on Easter Morning, drew the people from these photos onto the panel then painted in the setting around them plein air in 3 sessions, due to interruptions of snow and rain and clouds. The red building is the historic Wright's Tavern. It's the building that Paul Revere was headed for but never reached because of his arrest.
